Doug Weir for Live The Dream.

My favorite Fortrias tee shirt is the “Fight Socialism” tee. The words Fight and Socialism are an interesting pair. Individuals who adhere to Socialist beliefs generally have given up hope that something better in life is worth “fighting” for. Instead they believe that someone else should determine what they get. They expect someone else to get it for them, and give it to them. As a result, they put their future in the hands of others. I have been mentored for the past 16 years by winners, winners who believe that if you can dream it, you can get it. Therefore getting it is exactly what you will have to do. If the dream is big enough, you will have to fight for it. You won’t necessarily fight another person for it, but fight laziness, procrastination, negative opinions of others, apathy, etc. Again, the words Fight and Socialism are an interesting pair. Those who believe that life can be better and that we live in a time when great things can be accomplished would positively suggest that we fight socialism. Everything considered, the socialist concept as a whole goes against many of our core beliefs.

Right on Doug! Thanks for setting the example and showing those of us who are in the fight that it’s worth continuing to fight for. Hopefully those who are apathetic will get caught up in all that we’re doing and start to fight themselves.
Believe!

Winston Churchill said, “The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries” and “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy”.
